Sounds for music production 

When planning "RS THREE," we interviewed well-known professional composers. As a result, we found that many composers use multiple environments, such as speakers, headphones, and earphones, to create music. In particular, when we delved into what is required of earphones in ways that are different from speakers and headphones, we found that what is required is monitoring performance for sounds such as ultra-low frequencies, shrieks, and lip sounds, as well as panning. "RS THREE" has monitoring capabilities on its own, but is also made to make these sounds easy to hear, and when used in conjunction with speakers and headphones, it is possible to further improve the sound quality of music. 

Myrinx EL-S driver combines high input resistance and high acoustic performance

This time we have adopted the Myrinx EL-S, which is based on the Myrinx EL and has a more precisely controlled diaphragm. acoustune has developed the Myrinx EL driver for the RS ONE by utilizing our know-how in the Myrinx driver. The Myrinx EL-S driver achieves more accurate monitoring than the Myrinx driver. The material used for the Myrinx EL-S is a super high-performance resin that is used for medical purposes, but is lightweight, extremely rigid, and boasts extremely high acoustic performance with large internal loss. The large internal loss reduces unnecessary incidental sounds that adversely affect the sense of air and positioning, enabling detailed monitoring of the strict sound field and panning required for recent high-resolution sound sources. 

In addition, to make the most of the Myrinx EL-S driver, we have secured a large back cavity behind the diaphragm and placed a distance between the diaphragm and the grill, which has achieved high input resistance that allows normal use even after a maximum signal of 250mW*1 is momentarily input. This makes the earphone speaker less likely to break even if a sudden large input is applied. The large stroke width of the diaphragm brings out the bass just like a loudspeaker, achieving the quality monitoring required for recent music.

Highly durable body that is resistant to shock, heat and sweat

We reduced the number of parts and conducted thorough market research to identify parts of ear monitors that are prone to breakage, resulting in a highly robust body. The housing is made up of two parts and is made of polycarbonate, which is highly impact-resistant, weather-resistant, and heat-resistant. By reducing the number of parts as much as possible, we have increased the rigidity of each part, significantly reducing the risk of failure even in harsh environments. The faceplate part has the role of increasing the rigidity of the body while still maintaining the identity of the ear monitor. In addition, the small body design has been tailored to create a housing that fits a wide range of users.

Adopting the newly developed earphone cable "ARM011L" that is highly reliable and easy to handle, andthe highly reliable Pentaconn Ear Long-Type

The cable is made of high-purity Litz wire and Kevlar wire braided together, and is coated with PU material for easy handling. By twisting this, we have created a flexible cable that is easy to handle and resistant to breakage.

Adopted "Pentaconn Ear" connector, a new IEM connector with high sound quality and high reliability designed and manufactured by Nippon Dicks Co., Ltd. Compared to conventional MMCX connectors, the plug and jack parts are in closer contact, and it has excellent conduction performance. It also achieves both ease of attachment and detachment and robustness. Like RS ONE, the connector adopts Pentaconn Ear Long-Type, which is designed to prevent sweat from entering the connector part. Compared to other connectors, Pentaconn Ear reduces the risk of contact failure due to wear and tear caused by attachment and detachment or use, and sweat, and reduces accidents with a highly reliable connector. In addition, in the unlikely event of a break, the cable can be easily attached and detached, and it is designed with practicality in mind. 

Taking into consideration the expected usage environment of this product and connection to various equipment, a 1.8m cable is included as standard, and a 6.3mm stereo standard plug conversion adapter is also included. 

AET earpieces for a superior fit and acoustic experience

The set includes the silicone earpiece "AET07", which was used as a reference when developing Acoustune earphones, and the "AET02", which provides a sense of airtightness unique to foam earphones. It achieves a high level of fitting while avoiding deterioration in sound quality. It also comes with a carrying case, making it easy to carry around.
