"Mirinx EL driver" combines high input resistance and high acoustic performance
Acoustune is a brand based on its own dynamic driver, and uses the polymer biomaterial "Mirinx", which is used for artificial skin and surgical sutures, as the diaphragm material. Although it is a synthetic base material for medical use, it is a high-performance resin that boasts extremely high acoustic performance as a diaphragm material. The diaphragm, which is made by thinning this Mirinx and optimizing it for the driver structure, is lightweight yet has high strength and flexibility, and reproduces music with high resolution and wide dynamic range with excellent transient characteristics. For the RS ONE, which was designed as a stage monitor, we took advantage of the know-how of this Mirinx driver and developed a new "Mirinx EL driver" for the RS ONE. The Mirinx EL driver is a driver that achieves more accurate monitoring than a regular Mirinx driver. The material used for the Mirinx EL driver is an ultra-high-performance resin that is used for medical purposes, but is lightweight, extremely rigid, and has a large internal loss, and boasts extremely excellent acoustic performance. The large internal loss reduces unnecessary incidental sound and improves monitoring performance. In order to make the most of the Mirinx EL driver, the back cavity behind the diaphragm is made large, and the distance between the diaphragm and the grill is increased, resulting in high input resistance that allows normal use even after a momentary signal of up to 250mW (※) is input. This makes the earphone speaker more durable and less likely to break even if a large input such as howling occurs suddenly on stage. The large stroke width of the diaphragm provides a live feeling like a loudspeaker, while also providing the accuracy of an in-ear monitor, allowing for excellent monitoring on stage.

Highly durable body that is resistant to shock, heat and sweat
The number of parts is kept as low as possible, and the parts that are prone to breakage were thoroughly studied through market research to create a highly robust body. The housing is made of two parts and is made of polycarbonate, which is highly impact-resistant, weather-resistant, and heat-resistant. By reducing the number of parts as much as possible and increasing the rigidity of each part, the risk of failure is greatly reduced even in harsh environments. The faceplate part plays a role in increasing the rigidity of the body while still maintaining the identity of the in-ear monitor. In addition, the small body design makes the housing suitable for a wide range of use by anyone.
Impedance design that matches wireless in-ear monitor systems
Stage monitors are mainly used in combination with wireless in-ear monitor systems. If the impedance of the in-ear monitor system and the earphones do not match, it may be difficult to get the volume right, or the characteristics of the earphones may change, resulting in poor monitoring performance. To avoid such problems, RS ONE performs precise impedance matching to thoroughly reduce compatibility issues with in-ear monitor systems.
Adoption of the newly developed cable "ARM011" and "Pentaconn Ear Long-Type"
The cable is the ARM011, newly developed for the RS ONE. It uses a 4-core structure of high-purity Litz wire and Kevlar wire braided together, and is covered with PU material to improve handling. By twisting this, we have created a strong cable that is flexible and easy to handle, but is also resistant to kinks and breakage. Considering compatibility with in-ear monitor systems, we have selected a straight type plug. In addition, the connector is a new IEM connector "Pentaconn Ear" connector designed and manufactured by Nippon Dix Co., Ltd., which boasts high sound quality and high reliability. Compared to conventional MMCX connectors, the plug and jack parts are in closer contact, providing excellent conductivity and achieving both ease of attachment and detachment and robustness. In addition, the RS ONE uses the "Pentaconn Ear Long-Type", which is embedded into the body and has a structure that makes it difficult for sweat to get into the connector, as a measure against sweat, which is important for stage monitors. Compared to other connectors, this connector reduces the risk of poor contact due to wear and tear caused by use and sweat, reducing accidents in professional on-site environments. In addition, in the unlikely event that the cable breaks, it is designed to be easily detached and replaced, making it suitable for live use.
*The blue molded part at the connector joint on the left side of the earphone body will be changed to a black molded part from the second production run onwards.
AET earpieces for a superior fit and acoustic experience
The set includes the silicone earpiece "AET07", which was used as a reference when developing Acoustune earphones, and the "AET02", which provides a sense of airtightness unique to foam earphones. It achieves a high level of fitting while avoiding deterioration in sound quality. It also comes with a carrying case, making it easy to carry around.
