AKM's DAC chip was essential to achieving the sound quality that Acoustune aims for. It uses the latest generation "AK4493s" that combines ultra-low distortion and low power consumption, and supports a wide range of sampling rates, including native playback of PCM up to 32bit/768KHz and DSD512. Sound tuning that takes advantage of the ultra-low distortion characteristics has achieved a natural and smooth sound reminiscent of an analog amplifier, despite the ultra-high resolution. The best sound quality and functionality are packed into a compact body.

Compatible with 3.5mm / 4.4mm plug

The AS2002 supports both 3.5mm 3-pole unbalanced and 4.4mm 5-pole balanced connections. It has a high output of up to 120mW@32Ω for unbalanced connection and up to 240ⅿW@32Ω for balanced connection. The unique sound tuning optimized for circuit design that delivers excellent audio performance minimizes the difference in sound quality between unbalanced and balanced connections. It is useful in a variety of connection environments, from high-sensitivity earphones to headphones that are difficult to play. Gain can be switched by pressing the volume buttons simultaneously.

"UAC 1.0" for gaming applications

In addition to the general UAC2.0 connection, it also supports UAC1.0, which is designed for connection to existing home game consoles. Design / LED indicator

The product design is simple and minimalist, with a heat sink image. The aluminum body provides excellent heat dissipation, minimizing the impact on sound quality, while providing a compact and easily portable Hi-Fi environment. The LED indicator on the front slit is designed to be easy to see without being too dazzling, with the light amount appropriately controlled to create a "light leak" effect. The current status of the AS2002 can be checked by the color of the LED.
