Acoustune's first groove cable

The grooved sheath is made of Japanese PVC material, which has been jointly developed with a resin manufacturer over many years. The surface of the sheath has fine grooves to reduce touch noise and prevent the cable from tangling. The graphite color gives it a different texture from the genuine cable, creating a special feel while still creating a calm design. 

Corrosion-resistant metal parts

For the connectors, branching parts, plugs, etc., we selected SUS316 (stainless steel), which is lightweight and highly corrosion resistant, and finished it with a knurled finish with large valleys to provide a non-slip and excellent grip. It supports comfortable insertion and removal of connectors and plugs. The surface treatment with reduced gloss gives it a modest yet high-quality presence, aiming to harmonize with the overall cable design.

Comes with a spacer that can be switched between Pentaconn short and long

By attaching the included spacer to the connector, you can switch between the Pentaconn short and long types. Even if the specifications differ depending on the manufacturer or model, you can enjoy re-cabling with just one ARX cable.

In the Acoustune product lineup, it can be used with both the MASTER Series (HS Series) and the MONITOR Series (RS Series). 

※About PE ring

This product is a part that is designed to be compatible with both earphones that use the Pentaconn EAR long type and earphones that use the Pentaconn EAR standard type. When a long type connector is attached to a standard type earphone, there is a risk of problems such as poor contact due to rattling or uneven wear on the terminals due to the gap that occurs.

The role of this part is to prevent these problems by attaching the PE ring. The PE ring has a specific direction (taper) for installation. Please be careful not to use it incorrectly.
